Iskola 2.0 Hostel is comfortable, cosy and welcoming -all this near the city center.
With fresh and comfy beds, towels and a caring personnel.
With some improvements on the small details it will be better.
The hostel was very central and it was really easy to get everywhere. It's 10min walk to nightlife and it's incredibly close to restaurants/shops etc. We managed to walk most places and we did a lot of sightseeing. On the other hand, the showers were broken/dirty, the toilets were gross, there was a kitchen which seemed ok (we didn't use this), our room was clean. The beds were really uncomfortable. I would stay again but because of the location. It is also hard to meet people as there's no one!
Me and my five friends stayed here during a couple of days in july 2015. We were welcomed by a lovely and helpful woman who did all she could to meet our needs. However the rest of the staff did not know any english which made it difficult to communicate. The showers were horrible and almost impossible to use as there were almost no water coming out of the hose.
Location is real good. 5 minutes walk to metro and tram. there are lots of cafes around the neighborhood. but there has to be an air conditioner in each room. Outside of the building was cooler than the hostel. I was expecting its showers and toilets to be more clean but it wasn't. It is not awful but could be cleaner definitely. And there are only 3 mirrors in the entire hostel and they were above the sink. It would be nice if they have a big mirror.
The hostel is situated in a great location near a lot of the of bars, clubs and restaurants; All were in walking distance. That is probably the only great thing about this hostel. The facilities, I.e. Bathroom, common areas, etc. were poorly kept. The sleeping room were decently kept up though. With this hostel you get exactly what you pay for. It is inexpensive for a reason.
This hostel is a former school, last year it was renovated (due to fact there was filming HBO) and it is now really cool place. Go Hipsters!
Rooms are equiped with furniture from IKEA, on the floor there is available great kitchen with washing machine, iron and other useful stuff.
I was pretty happy about cleanliness there.
The coolest was courtyard which provided great place where to stay in case there is warm as hell outside. Iskola Hostel has its own restaurant and also small club where you can relax, chat with other visitors or even to enjoy some concert.
The only one issue for me was low pressure of water in the shared bathroom in the most attractive hours of day (8 to 9.30 am, 9pm to 11pm). From time to time it was not possible to wash away the shower gel, but a while waiting was worth it:-D
My overall feeling of this place is great: for this money you get the best of the best. Great, clean, cool place in the city centre. You have all the sightseeings and clubs maximally 20 minutes by walk.
Big plus is free WiFi available everywhere in the Hostel and it works very well!

The workers were amazingly nice and helpful! The suggested us some things to see and helped us to organise our flights back home and called us a cab with a cheapest price. The location of the hostel is PERFECT! I would encourage anyone to go there. Only one thing wasn't as great as the rest: if the bedrooms are nice and clean, the common area such as the bathroom and the kitchen could be cleaner. They should add a carbage can in the women's toilet for example, and clean the showers more often.
skola 2.0 is a very nice hostel. The location is great and the staff were really nice and helpful. The bedroom was clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is located near a church so the church bells can become a nuisance sometimes but other than that everything was perfect.
